Anyone have a prediction on free agency? If we lose Loui, (which it is looking that way), will they try to fill that void with a cheaper option? Brouwer, Ladd....maybe they convince Eric Staal to come to Boston at a lower rate than what he was getting? What do you guys think?

Tough spot for the Bruins.

The guy is an above average player and the team would be weaker without him.

But any deal more than 3 years for a guy that age and you know it's not going to end well.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Jimmy's father is slipping the contract with the Leafs into his Father's Day card

I would rather pay Okposo than Loui to be honest. Loui is a good player and he had a great year but he doesn't have that extra gear. For the same money, who would you sign. Lucic or Loui? Loui is pretty consistent but doesn't really elevate his play.

I do want Goligoski though.

If they splash Okposo and Goligoski I will be happy. The trade market doesnt seem favorable right now. Edmonton needs the same thing we do and they have a bunch of underperforming prospects to sell.

Great idea. We will really get that missing piece of "grit" we need too. We need that enforcer roll to keep the refs in check.
